HomeMy WebLinkAboutGT 0003 - Collective Bargaining2 August 2018
If not already under review by the 2018 County Charter
Commission, please consider the following in your
deliberations:
Delete all requirements in the County Charter relating to
collective bargaining. Given the recent Supreme Court ruling,
the United States is basically a `right to work state', our County
Charter should reflect that new reality.
Establish wage and salary caps for all units/divisions of county
government and all County employees. Eliminate exclusionary
classes/categories.
Establish a policy of employee payment of taxes on all
bi/monthly contributions to their State/County retirement
accounts.
Thank you for your service on the Commission, and
Good luck!
