Call to Order: (Vice Chair) Joshua Pratt called the meeting to start at 10:35 am.

An Area Agency on Aging
New Business Committee member Nagasawa explained that the
Committee mutually acknowledge that we all
have equal roles on the Mayor's Committee and
that our purpose here is to advise the Mayor on
issues of equal access to County Programs,
services and activities.

Committee Member Punihaole was not available

Chair Shirachi was not available to report
3. Parking Enforcement
Committee Member Tobosa said there was
nothing to report.
4. Transportation
Vice Chair Pratt expressed his concern about
making improvements to the bus stops a first
priority over the actual buses.
Deputy Corporation Council Malia Hall informed
Mr. Pratt about the Paratransit program that the
County currently has.

5. Parks and Recreation
Committee member Gonzales reported that she
met with the Director of Full Life. That is the
organization putting on the Able Hawaii Artist
festival. She explained to the Committee about a
business called Deep and Beyond. The County
allocated Deep and Beyond to work w/ the Mobi
Mats at the beaches. They depend on the help of
the volunteers but the participation level is very
low. Gonzales said that they do have a flyer and
should be attending the AHA art festival

b. By -Laws Revision- Discussion for
Recommendations
Ms. Hall suggested that the Committee contact her
directly if they have any suggestions or revisions.

Committee Member Nagasawa suggested that

Jesse Floyd suggested that Emergency Planning
be placed on the future agenda. Transportation is
now and issue because of this current lava
situation.
Announcements
Jesse Floyd made an announcement for the
upcoming Disability Legislature Forum. Oct 25th
from 3pm — 6pm at the Old Airport pavilion in
West Hawaii.

Next Meeting
The next meeting will be at the West Hawaii
Civic Center, Council Chambers on July 11th.
The meeting will be from 10:00 am —12:00 pm.
