Please find attached for your review a flowchart that outlines the protocol for Charter
Amendment Proposals to trove from concept to conclusion, The flowchart articulates
provisions of the Commission's Rules of Procedure, Chapter 50 of the I-lawai`i Revised
Statutes, Article X[I1 of the Hawai`i County Charter, and the timeline previously
discussed by the Commission.
1 am placing this matter on the September 14, 2018, meeting agenda to allow for
discussion and provide public notice of the Commission's protocol for approval of
Charter Amendment Proposals.
