CHAIR'S REPORT ON OTHER COMMISSION ACTIVITIES AND INTERESTS Hawaii Police Commission Meeting Agenda November 16, 2018 Page 2 EXECUTIVE SESSION (CLOSED SESSION) The commission anticipates meeting in executive session to consider charges against officers or employees of the Hawaii Police Department, to consider sensitive matters relating to public safety, and may consult with Corporation Counsel on questions and issues pertaining to the commission's powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities pursuant to HRS 92-5 (a) (2) (4) (6) and the Hawaii County Charter Section 13-20 (b). CONSIDERATION AND INVESTIGATION OF COMPLAINTS (Briefly summarized.) • HPC 18-22: Complainant alleged that an officer's report of his assault was incomplete. HPC 18-26: Complainant alleged that an officer gave her citations for moving violations for her vehicle that was parked on her property. • HPC 18-29: Complainant alleged that when she went to make a complaint at the police station, her baby was taken away from her, and she was not allowed to feed the baby. HPC 18-30: Complainant alleged that an officer tried to antagonize him into an altercation by insulting him.
