Re: Input Regarding Fiscal Impact Statements

The Finance Department is supportive of the new Charter amendment regarding Fiscal Impact
Statements. We were waiting for the amendment to pass, before determining the process and
format we will use to prepare these statements, We would like to ensure that we have adequate
time to develop the Fiscal Impact Statements. The timeline in place now for placing Charter
amendments on the ballot should allow enough time.
