Aloha Charter Commission
Twice over the years I have voted to fully support a 2% LAND FUND, for the purpose of purchasing beautiful parts of our
island and FOREVER preventing their development.
I did not vote for anyone to gut this fund. You do Not have the right to divest this fund. Nor should you even consider it!!
I want to see that 2% Fund doing what it was intended to do: purchasing treasured places for perpetuity.
This land fund is not for paying salaries, fixing wells, or buses or even balancing budgets. See its name? Land!
Keep your hands off the 2% Land Fund.
