Dear Charter commissions,
We The People of Hawaii Island have loudly spoken three times; by the power of our vote, to fund the acquisition of
open space lands with 2 % of our tax dollars.
Your desire to change or tap into this fund; We The People of Hawaii Island voted to support, is a clear form of
Government Fraud.
We The People of The State of Hawaii are always taxed for something and when that something is completed do I know
we continue to be taxed - Yes! The Money is shifted to the General Fund.
Because you are Public Servants, that does not mean you are the most intellectual persons on this Island. You may be
the most scheming persons, I'll give you that.
As a registered voter in this State and County of Hawaii, my vote to support the 2% Land Fund is just THAT. Not for you
to tamper with with bogus language to afford your self the luxury of stealing from The People of Hawaii County's 2%
Land Fund.
If always more money is needed to run this county, perhaps look at eliminating some Public Servants perks!
