Subject: testimony on proposals CA -9 and CA -7 for Jan 25 meeting
Dear Commissioners -
Please advance proposal CA -9 to improve management of the open space fund.
Please reject proposal CA -7 to gut the fund. Nearly identical proposals have already been rejected twice by the voters. If
Mayor Kim can't balance the budget with the increase in property tax, the rise in property evaluations, and the new GET
increase, he's not going to be able to do it by raiding the land fund. We will just lose our open space and have nothing to
show for it.
