Subject: Support CA 9 2% fund
I am opposed to CA -13 and using the funds already voted on by the public for anything other than purchasing land that
the public wants kept free from development. Keeping the land accessible for public use is important not only for the
present but for the future. Three times our community has voted in support of creating and keeping the 2% Land Fund.
The will of the public is clear and should not be abrogated.
I am not opposed to a portion of the 2% fund being used to pay for a staff person to administer the fund and responsive
to the public, acquire approved properties. I am currently in favor of CA -9. Whatever oversight the County has in place
to prevent misuse or negligence should apply.
