Subject: Save the 2% Land Fund
Aloha Commission members,
We, the people of Hawaii County, have voted several times for a land fund, the latest for 2%. It should be not be the
Mayor's job to dismantle this program, and disobey the will of the people.
Look at the Hamakua Coast. EVERY SINGLE Cliff -front property is a private, inaccessible house. We should have bought
that land years ago.
There is still plenty of other land that should be saved.
It is up to you to follow the will of the people. Our tax funds are not up for grabs by any public official who wants it.
