Aloha Charter Commissioners,
Please protect 2% Land Fund. Please:
1. OPPOSE NEW CA -13 which authorizes the Mayor to take the funds for an emergency and not pay back for 5 years.
CONSEQUENCE: TAKE THE FUND AND NOT PAY BACK. There is a Disaster Relief Fund that has never been fully
funded. As of 12.31.2018 there is
$19,667,000. in the 2% Land Fund and $2.8 million in the Maintenance Fund.
