Aloha ka kou, Thank you for your time,
There isn't much left to be said that has not been more articulately offered before...
Please preserve the 2% land acquisition funds, protect them, do not let them be usurped to cover other shortfalls in the
budget.
We have a mandate from the people of the County of Hawaii to acquire and preserve tracts of land for the future
enjoyment of the people and environment. These 'precious' parcels will probably never come up for availability again- or
at least not at the prices offered today! Our island has only so much land available and desirable for this use. Please,
please allow the full 2% to continue doing the work mandated by the people. Protect. Preserve.
