RE: SB 935, RELATING TO CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS FOR
WATER REUSE
Thank you for this opportunity to testify in support of SB 935, which includes
funding for a water reuse project in Hawaii County. We appreciate that the author has
taken the initiative to bring this idea to the Legislature's attention.
Managing the reuse of limited water resources is becoming more and more
important, and this project is in alignment with the water reuse goals proposed by the
State.
We ask for your favorable action on SB 935, as well as possible incorporation of
this project into your WAM budget.
