SECTION 8 PROJECT-BASED VOUCHER PROGRAM
FINAL PROPOSAL SELECTIONS
Notice is hereby given that the Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD), Existing
Housing Division (EHD) pursuant to 24 CFR § 983 announce the final selection results of the Request
for Proposal (RFP) previously publicized on November 15, 22, and 29, 2018.
The OHCD has selected the following four (4) projects to receive available funding to assist 120 units
in the County of Hawai’i.
Kaiaulu O Kapiolani by Ikaika Ohana
Kaloko Housing Affordable Housing Project by Hawaii Island Community Development
Corporation (HICDC)
Papaaloa Elderly Housing by Big Island Housing Foundation (BIHF)
West Kawili Street Senior Project by Hui Kauhale, Inc.
The OHCD will make available to the public and any interested party its rating and ranking sheets and
documents for one month after this notice at the Office of Housing and Community Development,
Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. except holidays. The OHCD will not make available
sensitive owner information that is privileged, such as financial statements and similar information
about the owner. The OHCD office locations are:
