Dela Cruz, Chair <br />Committee on Ways and Means <br />Dear Chair Dela Cruz and Committee Members: <br />RE: SB 1131, SD1 Relating to Ohana Zones <br />Hawaii County supports SB 1131, SD1. <br />SB 1131, SD1 broadens the scope of the Ohana Zones Pilot Program by increasing the number of <br />zones and extending the implementation period. Hawaii County has identified potential ohana zone sights <br />that, if funded, will increase the number of short-term and permanent housing beds.
