actions;

► Facilitate ongoing community awareness, participation, and
partnerships, as appropriate;
► Build proactive relationships, and encourage interactive
communication between government and community;
► Provide a forum for community members and organizations to
share information related to potential opportunities as well as
concerns that apply to the planning area;
► Provide timely recommendations to the County on priorities
relating to the County operational budget and the CIP budget
and program;

► Review and make recommendations on interim amendments to the CDP;
► Serve as the steering committee, as set forth in the general plan, in any
comprehensive update of the CDP;
► Provide recommendations to amend the general plan; and
► Carry out other duties specified in the CDP and/or in agreement with the
planning department.
Proposed AC Duties
► Receive briefings from County agencies, as requested, on priority actions
identified in the CDP;
► Participate in the preparation of the general plan report as described in
Section 16-2-2(c).
► Participate in the comprehensive update of the CDP;
► Review and make recommendations related to proposed interim
amendments and comprehensive updates to the CDP and to the General
Plan; and
► Carry out other duties specified in the CDP and/or in agreement with the
planning department.
