Subject: Public Access, Open Space and Natural Resources Preservation Commission (PONC) proposed ballot
initiatives
Dear Commissioners,
I support the CA -18- CHANGES TO THE MAINTENANCE FUND. It is important that there be oversight and the Public
Access, Open Space and Natural Resources Commission and that non-profit groups may make improvements and pay for
people for the work they do on the land. Please put it on the ballot.
Please do not put CA -27 on the ballot. It would allow the county to use PONC funds to acquire land by eminent
domain. Also conservation easements should not be administered by anyone except the 2% land administrator.
