NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
Pursuant to §92-41, Hawaii Revised Statutes (hereinafter "HRS"), notice is hereby given that public
hearings will be held by the Hawaii County Charter Commission for the purpose of taking public
testimony on the 2018-2020 Hawaii County Charter Commission's review of the Hawaii County Charter
(2018 Edition).
Pursuant to Section 15-3 of the Hawaii County Charter (2018 Edition) public hearings will be
held in each of the geographical areas of Puna, Ka`u, Kona, Kohala, Hamakua and Hilo. The
public hearings will be held:

the date of the applicable hearing. If a response is received after the two (2)days,we will try to obtain the
auxiliary aid/service or accommodation,but we cannot guarantee that the request will be fulfilled. Upon
request, this notice is available in alternate formats such as large print, Braille, or electronic copy.
Notice is hereby given that pursuant to HRS §92-3.5,the Hawaii County Charter Commission will
conduct the April 3, 2019 and April 4, 2019 public hearings via interactive conference technology.
