Green waste disposal will remain open as usual. Commercial businesses must arrive before 2:30 p.m. to dispose of solid waste at the landfill. Residential patrons may use the solid waste transfer stations in Puakō, Waimea, or Kealakehe until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The West Hawaiʻi Sanitary Landfill will reopen as regularly scheduled on Wednesday, April 3, 2019, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.
