RE: HCR 168 Support for the Hawaii Wildlife Center Facility and Hawai`i's Endangered Wildlife
Hawaii Island is pleased to be the home of the Hawaii Wildlife Center, and by all accounts the Center
is doing an outstanding job in rehabbing some of Hawai`i's most critically endangered species, training
response personnel and volunteers, and being part of DLNR's response team.
Funding for such a facility is no doubt a challenge, so HCR 168 would certainly be welcomed.
