Subject: oppose CA -46
Hello,
I am writing to oppose CA -46 calling for a special election to vote on proposed amendments to the County Charter. Not
only would a special election be an unnecessary expense, but the voter turnout would be lower, as all focus will be on
the highly consequential 2020 election. Our goal is to encourage civic engagement. A special election would waste tax
money on an endeavor that would diminish voter participation.
