Houma <br />Director <br />Hawaii County, Nonprofit Offer Free Sports <br />Physicals to Keiki July 19 in Hilo <br />Keiki up to 18 years old can receive a free sports physical July 19 in Hilo <br />under a partnership between Hawaii County, the nonprofit For Hearts and <br />Souls and Sportz Viz. <br />The "No Athlete Left Behind" sports physical program will be offered from <br />8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 19, at Pana`ewa Park. Lead physician <br />Dr. Kirk Milhoan, a Maui pediatric cardiologist and medical director of For <br />Hearts and Souls, will perform sports physicals and echocardiographic <br />screenings to rule out hidden conditions that could cause sudden cardiac <br />arrest during strenuous activity. <br />Sportz Viz will take reservations for 25 athletes for each of four, two-hour <br />blocks.
