Chairman Roth called the meeting to order and the Commissioners <br />introduced themselves. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Minutes of the Meetings of March 5, 2019 <br /> <br />Chairman Roth asked if there were any corrections to the minutes. No corrections were offered, <br />and the minutes were approved as circulated. <br /> <br />STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON AGENDA ITEMS <br /> <br />The Commission received the following statements: <br /> <br />Mr. Mark Van Pernis, a former member of the Commission and representing himself, provided <br />comments on New Business No. 3, a sign variance application for Planet Fitness. He had <br />submitted written testimony, which had been distributed to the Commissioners earlier. He <br />testified in opposition, emphasizing the following reasons: <br /> Knowing, intentional and multiple violations and delays by Planet Fitness. Planet Fitness <br />had been aware of the code requirements for the sign permit process, including review by the <br />1 <br /> <br />
