Yuen, Planning Director <br />NormanHayashi,PlanningProgramManager <br />Phyllis Fujimoto, Staff Planner <br />Jeff Darrow, Staff Planner <br />And approximately 12 people from the public in attendance. <br /> <br />APPLICANT: TIMOTHY LYNN GARDNER (SLU 05-006/REZ 05-020) <br />a.State Land Use boundary amendment for 3.319 acres of land from the Agricultural to the <br />Urban district. <br />b.Change of Zone for 3.319 acres of land from an Agricultural 1-acre (A-1a) to an <br />Industrial-Commercial Mixed 1-acre (MCX-1a) district. <br />The property is located along the northeast side of the Keaau ƒ Pahoa Road (Highway <br />130), approximately 1,500 feet north of the Pahoa Village Market complex, Keonepoko <br />Homesteads, Puna, Hawaii, TMK: 1-5-7:53. <br />ALAMEDA:What we have before us is Timothy Lynn Gardner (SLU 05-006 and <br />REZ 05-020). This is a State Land Use boundary amendment for 3.319 acres of land from the <br />Agricultural to the Urban district; also a Change of Zone for 3.319 acres of land from an <br />Agricultural 1-acre (A-1a) to an Industrial-Commercial Mixed 1-acre (MCX-1a) district. The <br />property is located along the northeast side of the Keaau ƒ Pahoa Road, approximately 1,500 feet <br />north of the Pahoa Village Market complex, Keonepoko Homesteads, Puna, Hawaii. Staff? <br />HAYASHI:Thank you, Mr. Chair, Members of the Commission. The subject property <br />is indicated by this blue dot. It is a 3.3 acre property. It is situated along the northeast side of the <br />Keaau-Pahoa Road or also referred to as Highway 130. This is the Keaau-Pahoa going towards <br />Keaau; and this would be in the Kapoho direction.
