Amendments to Chapter 25, Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended), Article 1, Section 25-1-5 (b) (Definitions), Article 2, Division 7 (Plan Approval), and Article 7, Division 2 (CDH, Downtown Hilo Commercial District), relating to the Downtown Hilo Commercial District. The proposed amendments to the CDH Commercial District includes, among others, the deletion as well as addition of certain permitted uses, reduction of the height limit from 120 feet to 60 and 80 feet, and required design patterns for new development within a new Downtown Hilo Commercial Core (DHCC).
