<br />NOTICE OF CONTESTED CASE HEARING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of a contested case hearing to be conducted by Hearing <br />Officer Sherry Broder, Esq. for the Planning Commission of the County of Hawaii in <br />accordance with the provisions of Chapters 91 and 92, Hawaii Revised Statutes, Section <br />6-4.3 of the Charter of the County of Hawaii, and the Planning Commission's Rules of <br />Practice and Procedure for the following application. <br />DATES/TIMES: <br />Monday, June 23, 2008 (9:30 a.m.) and continuing on <br /> Tuesday, June 24, 2008 (8:30 a.m.) <br />PLACE: <br />Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel <br /> 62-100 Kaunaoa Drive <br /> Kohala Coast, Hawaii <br />APPLICANT: STANFORD CARR DEVELOPMENT, LLC <br />(SMA 07-000019) <br />Special Management Area Use Permit to allow the development of 691 residential <br />units, 516 hotel units (consisting of 184 hotel room suites containing a total of <br />266 keys with an adjacent enclave of 100 self-contained family bungalows <br />containing a total of 250 keys), 3 golf holes and related support facilities within <br />the Mauna Lani Resort.
