(PL-REZ-2022-000017), TMK: (3) <br />7-7-008:062 <br />Aloha Leeward Planning Commission, <br />This testimony is in opposition of the rezoning of this Ag5a lot to Ag1. I oppose this application for the following reasons <br />(among others): <br />No Subdivision Signage on Site <br />Attempt to use old Water Allotment Letter (years old) <br />Presence of Endangered Species <br />Avoiding Archeological Surveying <br />Department of Transportation Safety Concerns <br />Avoiding Special Management Area (SMA) Hearing by Planning Commission <br />Language for Zoning Extensions Past Initial Approval <br />The continued subdividing of areas on Hawaii island, especially ones that are in the Special Management Area (this one <br />that is 0.8 miles from shore), only benefit the land "owner" and developer themselves while causing harm and <br />destruction to the areas/ people/ species surrounding it.
