<br />LEEWARD PLANNING COMMISSION <br />COUNTY OF HAWAIÒI <br />MINUTES <br />NOVEMBER 24, 2010 <br />The Leeward Planning Commission met in regular session at 9:40 a <br />Kona Beach Hotel, Ballroom I, 75-5660 Palani Road, Kailua-Kona, <br />Frederic Housel presiding. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Frederic Housel, Lani Bowman, Thomas Hickcox, Richard <br />Nelson and Brandi Beaudet (from 10:50 a.m.) <br /> <br />ABSENT AND EXCUSED: Geraldine Giffin and Wayne Iokepa <br /> <br />STAFF PRESENT: Brandon Gonzalez (Deputy Corporation Counsel), BJ Leithead Todd <br />(Planning Director), Daryn Arai (Planning Program Manager), Jeff Darrow (Staff Planner) and <br />Maija Cottle (Staff Planner) <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS: Kiran Emler 'DmfhmddqhmfChuhrhnmikdes`s009/4`-l-( <br /> <br />The Chair introduced the commissioners and staff to members of t <br />procedure for public testimony. <br /> <br />The Commission took up the following item at 9:40 a.m. with appr <br />the public in attendance: <br /> <br />APPLICANT: PARKER RANCH (SPP 10-108) <br />Application for a Special Permit to allow for the establishment <br />office uses within existing structures and the use of an existin <br />events, all of which are situated on a total of approximately 14 <br />headquarters and rodeo/equestrian facility complex in Waimea.
