I am writing in opposition to <br /> all applications submitted by Kaupulehu Land LLC. <br /> I don't believe that the agriculture land should be converted to commercial because of the fact <br /> that we don't have enough ag land to provide for the existing community and the proposed <br /> development would encourage more people to move to this beautiful island. <br /> There are several other factors to this development that will have a negative impact on our <br /> community as well. The amount of congestion that our roads endure will only get worse. <br /> There are native birds and animals that also use that area and surrounding areas for making <br /> their homes and for food.The impact and strain that will be put on other businesses and <br /> infrastructure is too great. <br /> In closing, I want to reiterate that I would like to ask the powers that be to reject any <br /> applications set forth by Kaupulehu Land LLC and Metzler contracting in regards to this <br /> proposed project. I feel that the risks to our community and environment outweigh any <br /> benefits that the proposed project may provide. <br /> Mahalo for your consideration to this matter, <br />
