Minutes of Meeting of August 13, 2012. <br />REPORTS <br />1) <br />LAND USE PERMIT ACTIVITY REPORT (5 minutes) – Rosalind Newlon, NKCDP Project <br />Manager will provide a report on Planning Dept. permits received in the previous month for <br />the North Kohala district. <br />2) <br />NKCDP AC SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS (10 minutes) – NKCDP AC members will report on <br />the recent activity of the subcommittees: <br />a. Growth Management – The subcommittee will provide an overview of the <br />accomplishments over the last year including; establishing procedures and policies for <br />Growth Management Subcommittee; provide examples of land use applications <br />reviewed in the last year; and discuss goals for making recommendations to the <br />Planning Director and disseminating information to the public. <br />b. Public Access – The subcommittee will provide an overview of accomplishments over <br />the last year including the acquisition of coastal lands; updates on coastal access; and <br />provide updates on Grants of Easements and Shoreline easements. <br />c.
