Minutes of the Meetings of January 14, 2013 and February 11, 2013. <br />REPORTS <br />1) <br />NKCDP AC SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS (30 minutes) – NKCDP AC members will report on <br />the recent activity of the subcommittees: <br />a. Growth Management – The subcommittee will report on land use applications <br />submitted to the Planning Department. <br />b. Public Access – The subcommittee will provide updates on activities at; Akoakoa <br />Point (Bird Cave); Hapu'u; Kauhola Lighthouse; Halelua; Upolu Airport - East end of <br />the runway; Upolu Airport Area Restoration; Coast Guard Road; Puakea Bay Ranch; <br />Ranch at Puakea; Latitude 20 (Land South of Pao’o); Kaiholena South; Kohala Kai; <br />Grant of easement documents; and Old government roads & railroads. <br />c. Parks and Water Improvement – The subcommittee will provide an update on the <br />water systems project. <br />d. Power, View Planes and Erosion Control – <br />The subcommittee will provide updates on <br />continuing efforts in rural infrastructure and erosion control, view plane protection, and <br />route coordination for the proposed North Kohala reliability/redundancy electric loop with <br />the proposed supply of geothermal power to Oahu. <br />e.
