January 21,2013 meeting held at old Bank of Hawaii site. <br />Present: Jack Hoyt and Collin Kaholo <br />Subject: Kahie Land surrounding Housing sub- division. 24.749Ac. States Land manage by the DLNR <br />Committee had the opportunity to receive information / paper work on studies done on said property, <br />for the two (2) projects prior to our request for this area. <br />Information received: <br />1. Topo information on S Ac. of the 24.749 Ac. South side of the existence home in place. <br />2. Meeting notes for park proposal for this site <br />3. Flowchart for work group, assisted by the Military. <br />4. Property Characteristic. <br />S. Charter 343 — Environmental Assessment. <br />6. More info. As needed. <br />January 24, 2013 <br />10:30 am meet up with Mr. Gordon C. Heit (District Land Agent) DLNR. Jack Hoyt and Collin Kaholo with <br />Mr. Heit did a walk around on the property. On site there is a lot of green waste, from the County Road <br />& P &R Division who is presently using this area as a dumping site. <br />The DLNR is willing to release this property to the County. Three identification groups (Commercial, <br />Sub- division and Community use) Committee needs to show justification for the Community use and <br />not a burden to the County. <br />Steps of Transfer of land need to be look at from? Community needs and others supports in the used of <br />this property.
