There is no way good teachers can make a living on these islands with the low pay and lack of community support /buy in. Great job being done by the charter schools, the whole public school system need a giant overhall of administration so the $ can flow down to the ones who teach and the ones that learn, our students in public school lack in so much and most of it due to lack of funds. More and better teachers. Well, we need what every community needs. the schools here look more like prisons, with streets running between them. and what is with putting a schoolight on the highway? was safety for the children not a concern for the developers and the parents? I think most of us know what issues here, need to be addressed.
