Minutes of the Meeting of June 10, 2013. <br />Report by Planning Department regarding NKCDP AC request for website (including <br />Facebook) and posting of documents(10 Minutes). <br />SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS <br />1) <br /> – NKCDP AC members will report on the <br />NKCDP AC Subcommittee Reports (30 minutes) <br />recent activity of the subcommittees: <br />a. Growth Management – The subcommittee will report on land use applications <br />submitted to the Planning Department. <br />b. Public Access – The subcommittee will provide updates on: Akoakoa Point (Bird <br />Cave); Hapu’u-Kapanaia; Kauhola Lighthouse; Halelua; Pahoa Beach; Upolu Airport <br />– east end of runway; Upolu Airport area restoration; Coast Guard Road; Puakea Bay <br />Ranch; Ranch at Puakea; Latitude 20 (land south of Pao’o); Kaiholena; Kohala Kai; <br />Grant of easement documents; and Old Government roads and rail roads <br />. <br />c. Water, Parks and Roads– The subcommittee will provide an update on the water, <br />parks and roads projects. <br />d. Power, View Planes and Erosion Control - The subcommittee will provide updates on <br />continuing efforts in rural infrastructure, view plane protection, and electricity reliability <br />and redundancy. <br />e.
