The improving economic conditions in the
county combined with the rapidly increasing demand for local access to goods and services have
created an urgent situation for Pdhoa. Without these vital pieces of legislation in place, new
development will proceed without the guidelines crucial to maintaining the character and sense of
place of Pdhoa.
Mahalo for your consideration and all the valuable work you do.
Hawai`i County is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer
