PARKS,WATER & ROADS SUBCOMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES <br />August 2 6, 2 014 <br />Attendance: John Winter,Andi Longpre(minutes by andi) <br />Dept. Water Supply: Mr.Larry Beck has agreed to meet with members of the <br />subcommitee and other community members. We are to review the "water paper" <br />that was submitted to the DWS. We will focus on the four recommendations to <br />ascertain whether and how these can be achieved. The meeting will be on <br />Sept.9,2014 on the lanai at the North Kohala Resource Center in Hawi. Following <br />that meeting we anticipate no more than 5 additional meetings to met our <br />objectives. <br />PRATT ROAD ACCESS: The CDP lists Pratt Rd as a likely alternative emergency <br />route. Andi is drafting a letter to the property owners to ascertain whether and <br />what may be objections to maintaining the road so as to allow access. <br />NEXT MEETING: Tuesday,Sept 30th 2014 @ 5 p.m. at the Senior Ctr. Kapa'au <br />
