<br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING AND HEARINGS <br /> <br />LEEWARD PLANNING COMMISSION <br />COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I <br /> <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the following matters to be considered by the Leeward <br />Planning Commission of the County of Hawai‘i in accordance with the provisions of Chapters 91 <br />and 92, Hawai‘i Revised Statutes, Section 6-7.5(a) of the Charter of the County of Hawai‘i, and <br />the Commission’s Rules of Practice and Procedure. <br /> <br />DATE: Thursday, February 19, 2015 <br /> <br /> TIME: 9:30 a.m. <br /> <br /> PLACE: West Hawai‘i Civic Center, Community Center, Building G, <br /> 74-5044 Ane Keohokālole Highway, Kailua-Kona, Hawai‘i <br /> <br />STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC – Note that statements from the public regarding <br />any particular item on this agenda will be taken at the time the particular item is called to <br />order. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS – 9:30 a.m. <br /> <br /> APPLICANT: PACIFICA BIG ISLAND, LLC (Amend SMA286) <br />1. <br /> Application to amend Special Management Area (SMA) Use Permit No. 286, which allowed <br />the development of a 212-unit residential condominium project and related improvements on <br />TMK 7-8-010:078. The amendment is to increase the density by 16 units, increase the land <br />area to include TMK 7-8-010:090, and a time extension to complete construction of the <br />development. The property is located on the east (mauka) side of the Kamehameha III Road- <br />st <br />Ali‘i Drive intersection, Kahuluu and Keauhou 1, North Kona, Hawai‘i, TMK: 7-8-010:078 <br />and 090. <br /> <br /> APPLICANT: PACIFICA BIG ISLAND, LLC (Revoke SMA 456) <br />2. <br />Request to revoke Special Management Area (SMA) Use Permit 456, which allowed the <br />development of a 16-unit multiple family residential complex and related improvements. <br />The property is located on the southeast side of Kamehameha III Road, immediately adjacent <br />to and makai of the Keauhou Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Kahuluu and Keauhou <br />st <br /> <br />1, North Kona, Hawai‘i, TMK: 7-8-010:090. <br /> <br /> APPLICANT: KING OF KINGS CHURCH (SPP-14-000171) <br />3. <br />Application for a Special Permit to establish King of Kings Church (Congregational) and <br />related uses and improvements, including the establishment of a new private cemetery, on <br />approximately 3.048 acres of land situated within the State Land Use Agricultural District. <br />The project site is located adjacent to the north of Harold H. Higashihara Park on East <br />nd <br />Honalo Road which parallels Kuakini Highway, Keauhou 2, North Kona, Hawai‘i, TMK: <br />7-8-005:026. <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />
