<br />PARKS,WATER & ROADS SUB-COMMITTEE REPORT JANUARY 2015 (prepared by <br />Andrea J. Longpre (chair) <br /> <br />PARKS: HISAOKA GYM ROOF: In response to my inquiry ,Jason Armstrong ( Parks <br />& Recreation) informed me that the County had hired a contractor to begin work on <br />March 2,2015. The project is to be completed in 90 days. <br /> <br />MAHUKONA LUAS: Due to the severe swells of January 21 and 22. I inquired of <br />nd <br />Mr. Armstrong if he had any information that would address the question of <br />whether the luas had “been swept into the ocean.” Mr. Armstrong responded that <br />the luas had been pushed in-land and not out to sea. He and I will continue to <br />communicate on this topic. <br /> <br />WATER & ROADS: Beers Rd. Our sub-committee is aware that there have been 7 <br />breaks in the water pipe system during 6 weeks in 2014. Our understanding is that <br />Beers Rd. will be on the DWP CIP list. <br /> <br /> <br />ROADS: We have finalized our letter to Pratt Rd. landowners and expect to send it <br />out in February or early March. <br />
