MINUTES OF PARKS,WATER & ROADS SUB -COMMITTEE 26 August 2015 <br />ATTENDANCE: Toni Withington,John Winter,Carter Collins,Sara Pule Fujii,Ralph <br />Galan,Jim Shannon, Andi Longpre (minutes byAndi) <br />PRATT ROAD: We agreed to invite the landowners to a meeting to discuss the <br />results of the January 2015 letter that our sub -committee sent out. (Please see <br />Strategy 4.6 of the CDP pg 79 re: emergency bypass roads). Recent developments <br />such as downed trees,flooding and a hostage situation have emphasized the need for <br />an alternative route. John Winter will follow through on setting up such a meeting <br />for September 301h at the Senior Ctr. <br />We also agreed to hold a public meeting at the Intergenerational Center re: <br />community access and how to best accomplish the above strategy. That meeting will <br />be held on Wednesday,October 141h at 5 p.m. Sara Pule and Toni Withington will <br />invite the appropriate county and state legislators. <br />MAHUKONA PARK: As of August 251h there are no developments re: the ladder or <br />the toilet/shower improvements. (information provided by Jason Armstrong,Public <br />Information Officer,P&R). <br />HISAOKA GYM ROOF: Carter Collins reported that there is a small leak in the new <br />roof. He said that there is a guarantee (in place for one year)that such problems <br />will be repaired. <br />NEXT MEETING: September 301h 5 p.m. at the Senior Ctr. <br />
