March 14, 2016 meeting of NK CDP Action Committee <br />Report of the Subcommittee on <br />Power, Viewplanes and Erosion Control <br />Part of the subcommittee's report is the presentation by high school <br />students working on the Upolu Airport Soil Erosion Control Project. <br />The program was supported by Malama Kohala Kahakai and was the <br />senior project for two of the students. <br />For this month subcommittee members have been following the <br />proceedings of the Public Utilities Commission on switching to <br />alternative power sources and a Kona landowners dispute over <br />vegetation on one lot obstructing the views of another lot. <br />
