APPLICANT: CELLCO PARTNERSHIP DBA VERIZON WIRELESS (USE 16-063) <br />Request for a Use Permit to allow the construction of a new, unmanned telecommunication <br />facility that will include a 195 -foot tall, four -legged steel lattice telecommunications tower <br />with twelve (12) 8 -foot tall panel antennas and related facilities within a 1,500 -square foot <br />portion of a 116 -acre parcel of land situated in the County's Agricultural -20 acre (A -20a) <br />zoning district. The project site is located approximately 1,200 feet southwest of Saddle <br />Road near the 8 -mile marker, Kaumana and Ponohawai Homesteads, South Hilo, Hawaii, <br />TMK: 2-5-002: Portion of 005. <br />2. APPLICANT: BEREAN BIBLE CHURCH (Formerly DEETMAN) (Amend USE 202) <br />Request to amend Condition No. 2 of Use Permit No. 202 to remove the requirement for a <br />50 -foot minimum building setback from all property lines in order to accommodate the <br />construction of five (5) 400 -square foot structures within the minimum 50 -foot building <br />setback area. Use Permit No. 202 was originally approved to allow the establishment of a <br />church and related improvement on 2.73 acres of land situated within the Agricultural -3 acre <br />(A -3a) zoning district. The property is located along the south side of Lama Street, <br />approximately 660 feet east of its intersection with Awa street, Pana`ewa House Lots, <br />Waiakea, South Hilo, Hawaii, TMK: 2-2-051:009. <br />
