Communication No. 2016-16 <br />PCDP Subcommittee on Connectivity and Emergency Response <br />Meeting — May 24, 2016, Keaau Community Center <br />2:00 p.m. (Note change in meeting time) <br />MINUTES <br />Call to Order: 2:05 p.m. <br />Call for Approval of Minutes as Circulated (March 22, 2016) - Approved <br />Present: Patti Pinto, Farris Etterlee, Marlene Hapai, Russel Jones <br />Old Business: <br />• Update on Ad hoc Committee initiated by Gregor Ilagan <br />Connectivity Location Site Visits — Friday October 30, 2015 <br />Report regarding proposed Connectivity Locations TMK's and other <br />supporting information to acquire connections. <br />Discussion of amendments suggested at CERS Ad hoc Committee meeting <br />held on May 11, 2016 at Council Chambers in Hilo. <br />• Discuss suggested alternative CL's should those presently recommended <br />not be viable <br />No alternative CL's suggested at this time <br />• Update on meeting schedule with the following to gain support for <br />connectivity implementation: <br />o Representative Gabbard <br />o Senator Schatz <br />o Senator Lorraine Inouye, State Senate Transportation Chair <br />Will meet with State and Congressional members once assistance at their <br />respective levels is determined. <br />New Business: <br />• Open Discussion on Topics of Concern to CERS members and others in <br />attendance <br />In favor of continuing South Lauko Road <br />Next Meeting: July 26, 2016, Keaau Community Center, Remaining Schedule for 2016: <br />8/23, 9/27, 10/25, 11/22, 12/27 or as notified. <br />Adjournment: 2:40 P.M. <br />
