The <br />previously approved proposal for Kona Brewery, consisted of a two (2) story, 37,025 s.f. <br />structure with parking and landscaping on a lot between Kuakini Highway and Pawai Place, <br />south of Kaiwi Street. Proposed revisions include: changes to the parking and configuration <br />of stalls, changes to roof shapes which will result in multiple roof heights, additional rock <br />facing on the exterior building panels, color change to the building walls and a reduction to <br />the proposed landscaping. <br />Applicant: Riehm Owensby Planners Architects LLC <br />Landowner: Lili‘uokalani Trust Estates/Kona Brewery LLC <br />TMK: (3) 7-4-010: 004 <br />Location: 74-5588 Pawai Place, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740 <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />The Commission will continue discussion concerning the possible update of the 1994 <br />Kailua-Kona Master Plan and the relationship of how this master plan coordinates with the <br />Kona Community Development Plan (KCDP). Commissioner Hetherington offered to <br />prepare a draft letter to the Planning Director stating that if there is an appropriation for a <br />Kailua-Kona Redevelopment Plan, the members of the KVDC would like to be included in <br />the Master Planning process. <br /> <br />Hawaii County is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer. <br /> <br />
