Quorum was <br />met. <br />II. ROLL CALL <br />PRFSFNT <br />Farrah -Marie Gomes, Chair <br />Brooke Derby, Vice Chair <br />Mele Spencer, Treasurer <br />Debra Toledo-Ebreo <br />Jewel Castro <br />Cyd Hoffeld, ex -officio <br />FM ISM <br />Lee -Ann Heely, excused <br />Jessie Marques, excused <br />Tammy Aiona, excused <br />Renee Schoen, excused <br />III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES (August 9, 2016) <br />A. Brooke motioned to approve the August 9, 2016 minutes and Jewel <br />seconded. No discussion. The minutes of August 9, 2016 were approved <br />as submitted. <br />IV. TREASURERS REPORT <br />A. August 2016 Financials <br />• A correction was needed in the $1,000 income. <br />• Action was deferred for correction and review at the next meeting. <br />V. STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />A. Kami Bolster of the Regency Pacific attended. She attended the Essay <br />Contest and was impressed with the committee in its efforts to encourage <br />girls to write about "real women" and was interested in other initiatives of <br />the committee. She submitted her application to serve on the CSW with <br />the Mayor's Office. <br />Hawai'i County is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer <br />
