The subject property is <br /> located at 16-308 `Ainaloa Boulevard in the <br /> Orchid Land Estates Subdivision, <br /> approximately 1 mile southwest of its <br /> intersection with Kea`au-Pahoa Road, or <br /> Highway 130, directly across from the <br /> `Ainaloa Longhouse complex, Orchidland <br /> Estates Subdivision, Kea`au, Hawaii, TNM: <br /> (3) 1-6-008:328. <br /> FINDINGS OF FACT, CONCLUSIONS OF LAW,DECISION AND ORDER <br /> I. INTRODUCTION <br /> This matter comes before the Windward Planning Commission of the County of Hawaii <br /> (the "Planning Commission"),pursuant to Chapter 205-6, Hawaii Revised Statutes and Rule 6 <br /> of the Rules of Practice and Procedure of the Planning Commission,upon the application of John <br /> Kuualoha Hewett and Patrina Tine Niu-Hewett to obtain a Special Permit. The Planning <br /> Commission considered the complete case record at its hearing on January 6, 2022 and made the <br /> determinations and decisions set forth herein at the close of the January 6, 2022 hearing on the <br /> matter. <br /> 1 <br />
