The permit was previously issued to Allied Aggregates Ltd. <br />for property located approximately 2.5 miles northeast of the Hawaii Belt Road <br />(Highway 190)-Saddle Road junction in the vicinity of the West Hawaii Concrete <br />quarries at Waikoloa, South Kohala, Hawaii, TMK: 6-7-1: portion of 25. <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS – 9:30 a.m. <br />INITIATOR: PLANNING DIRECTOR <br />2. <br />Amendment to Chapter 2, Article 7, Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as <br />amended) relating to the Planning Commission’s review of a draft community <br />development plan or amendment thereof. The purpose of the amendment is to provide a <br />time frame for the Planning Commission’s review and recommendation to the County <br />Council on a draft Community Development Plan or amendment. <br />INITIATOR: PLANNING DIRECTOR <br />3. <br />Amendment to Chapter 25 (Zoning), Article 2, Division 3, Section 25-2-35, Hawaii <br />County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended) relating to administrative enforcement. <br />The proposed amendment states that “an appeal to the board of appeals shall not stay the <br />provisions of the (planning) director’s order pending the final decision of the board of <br />appeals.” <br /> <br />
