<br />LEEWARD PLANNING COMMISSION <br />COUNTY OF HAWAIÒI <br />MINUTES <br />APRIL 16, 2010 <br /> <br />The Leeward Planning Commission met in regular session at 9:45 a <br />Marriott Hotel, AliÒi III Room, 69-275 Waikoloa Drive, Waikoloa, <br />Frederic Housel presiding. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Frederic Housel, Brandi Beaudet, Lani Bowman, Geraldine <br />Giffin, Wayne Iokepa and Richard Nelson <br /> <br />STAFF PRESENT: Brandon Gonzalez (Deputy Corporation Counsel), BJ Leithead Todd <br />(Planning Director), Daryn Arai (Planning Program Manager), Jeff Darrow (Staff Planner) and <br />Maija Cottle (Staff Planner). <br /> <br />The Chair introduced the Commissioners and staff to members of t <br />The Commission took up the following item at 9:45 a.m. with appr <br />public in attendance: <br />APPLICANT: ADVANCED SOLUTIONS GROUP LLC (SPP 10-99) <br />Special Permit to establish a parking lot with approximately 26 <br />on approximately 16,000 square feet of land situated within the <br />District. The property is located north of the Veterans Administration Health Care Clinic on the <br />east side of Huallai Road near the Huallai Road Î Queen KaÒahumanu Highway intersection, <br />rd <br />PuaÒa 3, North Kona, HawaiÒi, TMK: 7-5-10:portion 64. <br />Ms. Cottle oriented the Commission and public of the subject and <br />location map, aerial photos and site plan, summarized the reques <br />Department recommended approval of the application with conditio <br />The applicantÓs representative, Steven Lim, and Blair Giles of A <br />were in attendance. Mr. Lim stated that the applicant is in agr <br />DepartmentÓs recommendation and proposed conditions.
