Yuen, Planning Director <br />Norman Hayashi, Staff Planner <br />Kiran Emler representing Department of Public Works <br />The Chair introduced the Commissioners and staff to members of t <br />REZ 03-010The Commission took these applications up at 9:08 a.m. <br />& SMA 03-005with approximately 16 people from the public in <br />CLIFTOÓS KONAattendance. <br />COAST, LLC <br />ND <br />OOMA 2, <br />NORTH KONA <br />APPLICANT: CLIFTO'S KONA COAST, LLC (REZ 03-010/SMA 03-005) <br />Continued hearing on the following applications: <br />a)Change of Zone from General Industrial 3-acre (MG-3a) to Project District for <br />83 acres of land. <br /> <br />b)Special Management Area Use Permit to allow the development of a <br />commercial Î residential complex consisting of offices, retail uses, multi-family <br />housing, facilities for transient accommodations, and related improvements. <br />The property is located along the west (makai) side of Queen Kaahumanu Highway <br />(State Highway 19), approximately 2,100 feet south of the Queen Kaahumanu Highway Î <br />nd <br />NELHA Access Road, Ooma 2, North Kona, Hawaii, TMK: 7-3-9:22. <br />(SEE EXHIBIT A) <br />1 <br /> <br />
