Effective May 1, 2016, <br /> FHWA has issued a Delegation of Authority allowing the HDOT and local public agencies to <br /> conduct NI-IPA Section 106 consultations with the SHPO, NHO, and other consulting parties per <br /> 36 CFR, § 800.2 (c) (4). The FHWA will remain responsible for all findings and determinations <br /> charged to the agency during the Section 106 process. <br /> Overview of the Undertaking <br /> HDOT proposes to rehabilitate the Nanue Stream Bridge at Milepost 18.5 on Hawaii Belt Road <br /> in the Honohina ahupuaa, Hawaii Island to address the deterioration in the superstructure by <br /> repairing steel truss members, bearings, gusset plates, rivets, etc. that have corrosion and section <br />
