At its hearing on February 11, 2026, the <br /> CRC voted to support the following recommendations offered by the PIG: <br /> • The CRC may provide suggestions to the South Kohala Community Development Plan <br /> (CDP) Action Committee (AC) regarding potential amendments to the South Kohala CDP <br /> to emphasize the significance of Kawaihae's cultural history and resources, thereby <br /> supporting long-term protection efforts. <br /> • The CRC may assist in identifying potential funding sources to support the protection <br /> and/or preservation of historic resources. <br /> www.planning.hawaiicounty.gov Hawai'i County is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer planning@hawaiicounty.gov <br />
